MANILA, Philippines — Seasoned journalists commended the effort of a TV5 cameraman who stood before the camera, instead of behind it, to report the latest update on Super Typhoon “Uwan” in Albay. 

Mac Ortiz earned praises from social media users and his fellow mediamen as he bravely stood before the camera to report on Sunday about the situation in Albay, Bicol.
